De este extraño cocktail profesional nace Volar es Humano, Aterrizar es Divino, un espectáculo teatral multimedia que tiene dos grandes objetivos: que los espectadores pierdan el miedo a volar y que se rían mucho. Durante 10 años consecutivos, Volar es Humano, Aterrizar es Divino ha llenado los prestigiosos teatros Maipo y Coliseo de Buenos Aires, así como los mejores teatros de las principales provincias de Argentina; en España, ha estado en Teatros del Canal de Madrid, además de Bilbao, Vigo, Avilés, Logroño, Murcia y A Coruña; en Italia en la ciudad de Milan, en el Teatro Lirico.
Partiendo de una espectacular e impactante recreación del accidente del vuelo 052 de Avianca, Piñeyro nos hace reflexionar sobre cómo se ha construido el miedo a los aviones. Con un sentido del humor ácido e inteligente, nos habla del error humano, de los fallos y absurdos de la comunicación y contrapone situaciones de nuestra vida cotidiana con la aviación. La publicidad, la política, la educación y la salud son las “víctimas” principales de la ironía más mordaz de Piñeyro que nos demuestra que el mundo sería un sitio mejor si funcionara como los aviones.
